Topeka Scarecrows
In 2003-05, National Sports Services was actively involved with supervising all areas of operations of a new franchise in the Central Hockey League. Services included lease negotiations, inventory development, pricing structures, hiring, training, branding and merchandising, establishing sales and marketing plans, implementing accounting and reporting, establishing community and customer relations and media relations. During this timeframe, Matt Perry served as President of the Scarecrows. The Scarecrows played in the 7,000 seat Landon Arena, and averaged over 4,500 fans per game under Perry’s guidance.
